About the job:
Our small team in Indonesia is fairly international, consisting of an agile and dynamic team of advisors trained in Indonesia and Germany. The same goes for our clients who literally come from across the globe and a broad range of industries. We advise major MNCs but also a large number of often very specialised SMEs. For many of our clients, Indonesia is a relatively new market. This means they rely on us regarding a broad range of topics which we cover with a relatively small team of academically very strong, yet pragmatic advisors.
- Advising local and international clients on the full spectrum of various corporate transactions, including (distressed) mergers and acquisitions, joint venture agreements, restructurings and refinancing, etc.
- Ensuring the daily coordination between clients, counterparty lawyers, and services providers
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating all types of legal and corporate documents, in particular capacity and enforceability legal opinions
- Managing and coaching the corporate team members
- Coordination of legal research
- Participating actively in the business development needs of the firm
Your profile:
- Experience: Up to five years as a lawyer in an international context
- Qualification: Admission to the German Bar or any other European Bar
- Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken). German or other languages would be an asset
- Skills:
- Proactive, dynamic, interculturally competent team player with good communication skills
- Committed to providing an excellent service and practical solutions to our clients and involvement in business development and knowledge management
