We are hiring a Compliance Officer to support our team in Luxembourg.

Compliance Officer (m/f)
Permanent Employment Agreement

Your tasks:

  • Participate in the development, delivery and maintenance of compliance policies, practices and processes;
  • Approve clients identifications and follow-up on clients risk to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements;
  • Compile and analyze data, prepare and present reports related to compliance risk assessments, and monitor compliance related issues;
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations and publications in order to further identify new key risk areas;
  • Identify training needs, develop training material and provide trainings;
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding the firm, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Your profile:

  • Experience: 4-5 years’ experience acquired as a Compliance Officer;
  • Qualification: Professional compliance certification, a strong academic background and qualifications in law or any field relating to risk management (i.e. a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Law or similar qualifications);
  • Languages: Fluent in English and French. Knowledge of German would be considered as an asset;
  • Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional approach at all times;
    • Proactive with outstanding organisational and time management skills with the ability to demonstrate absolute discretion and deliver a high quality of work within tight deadlines;
    • Flexible, autonomous and self-starting person who can work both on his/her own initiative and within a team.
